Welcome to the website of the Dunstable & District Aquarist Society. We are a group of people from all walks of life with a single common interest - fish!
Whether you are a newcomer to the hobby and setting up your first aquarium or a veteran with forty years experience and a hundred tanks in the shed, you will find our club to be a friendly and interesting opportunity to exchange ideas with or obtain assistance from the our wealth of member's experiences.
Our club members keep or have kept pretty much every type of aquarium fish there is and have successfully bred many many species. Some members have specialist interests, such as cichlids, plants, ponds or killifish for example, and often have dedicated "fishhouses" in their garages or gardens containing dozens of aquariums.
Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at Salvation Army Hall in Harpenden and start at 8pm.
Car parking space is available behind the hall, if you turn into Amenbury Lane, there is a sharp turn into the carpark on the right hand side.
New faces are always welcome at our meetings which take on a friendly and informal atmosphere. Give us a try - you never know what you might find out!
